I already have my 1st question - in #1 paradigm shift you say there were 70 elders along with the apostles in Jerusalem...I'm guessing you mean messianic believers & not the Beit Din of the Sanhedrin...who were they & what is your source for that info? thanx ahead of time- Dinah

Hi Dinah

I actually actually was wondering the same thing.  (about who the 70 elders were)?  I just forgot to ask.

Rebecca

Many Blessings & Shalom2Uall,
From a wandering Israelite that is cycling ON the road to Tsiyon.

It will come to pass in that day that the remnant of Israel .. shall lean on YHWH ..in truth. Yesha'yah/Isaiah 10:20 Tsiyon.org

Dinah,  Rebecca…

First, let me state something that hasn’t been mentioned yet here in the forum.  I know both of you know this already—it is obvious from your post here, but for the sake of any of the others who are new here I wanted to mention about supplemental materials.

Many of the programs have a transcript, study guide, or supplemental materials useful to the theme presented in each program.  As an archive member, you can download these supplemental materials and use them in your study.  If you do so you will find, as Dinah and Rebecca did here, that the supplemental materials often contain notes, additional materials, quotes, and references for the materials presented in each program.  The notes for this program are summarized “short-hand” style (as mentioned in the Revelation Series as is popular in Hebraic materials) where one Scripture reference calls in thinking to many other Scripture references.  Eliyahu had one such chart within the supplemental materials for this program (see page 16).

Rightfully so you are now wondering, “After seeing the short-hand were is the extended version?”  You will find as you go along in the studies that Eliyahu presents hours and hours of teaching just on the organization of the Kingdom government—discussing the historic role, the role in Messiah’s government, and how it continued after Messiah.  In this program, the governmental structure and organization is presented as a side note of what is to come in the programs ahead where this is explained in detail.   It is the nature of a one-hour program that not everything can be covered in one hour—thus the reason for themes. This is out of the scope of the theme of this program, but not out of the scope of the themes of the future programs you will encounter which are already recorded at this time and awaiting your journey to them as you continue to access them from the Archives.

I’ve heard from many listeners about the process they take with these programs.  That it seems nearly every program raises one or more new question.  Some record these unanswered questions and then look for the answers (in prayerfully seeking YAH’s answer(s), in their own study, in future programs, and so on with as many different personal preferences as there are individuals doing the Talmidim program).   No matter who we are, we’ve all been sold some truth which is also mixed in with some falsehoods over the years of our previous studies.  No one is immune to this process that we all find ourselves in at the end of this age.  We are all in the “same boat” so to speak.  Each believer is on a path, regardless of where he or she started from to know what to keep and what to toss.  This is a process that takes time to unfold.   This is reflected in the very name of our program:  On The Road To Tsiyon.  We aren’t there yet—but we are on the way.  Everyone joins in at different times, and at different places along the path, some come alone, others come with many, some stay, some leave the path to pursuit other interests, but for now—they are all On The Road To Tsiyon—discovering which truths to hold on to and which to allow Messiah to skillfully remove from our hearts and minds as HE leads us to be more like HIM and more like who we were created to be.

Here at Tsiyon, we encourage believers to dig in.  We feel our Messiah is calling each believer to a new level with HIM.  Once we get there—HE has yet another new level for us and so on.  I'll be very interested to hear your response as you find your way to HIS answers for all of the various questions that will arise on your journey.  What a neat process HE has in store!

Blessings,
Dawn

P.S.  If anyone would like to volunteer to assist on transcription of the program please contact either  "SueJean" or "Dawn" via private message here at the forum.

Sing and rejoice, daughter of Tsiyon; for, behold, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of you,' says YHWH.  (Zechariah 2:10)
