Shalom movie watchers! Here are some movies that I have liked through the years because they share the truth in some way or another. Because they do, some of them have almost been squelched by the powers that be!
1." Dangerous Beauty" The story about a famous cortesan in early Venice who defied the Inquisition. Very beautiful.
2. "The Affair of the Necklace". Set in Paris before The French Revolution. A young woman who was cheated out of her anscestral home conspires to cheat Vatican officials out of a necklace to regain her home.
3. "Restoration" The story about a young man who loses his soul in riches and regains it in proverty. The Vatican Inquisition becomes a "back drop".
3. "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?" Very inpirational movie with music and comedy showing people going into the river to be immersed! Wonderful music. Great for the whole family! How many times can you write that?
