Yeshua’s Forerunner Part 2 #09

In this program we see that Yeshua started his ministry at the end of year 29 or in the year 30. We also reaffirm that Yochanan got his ministry straight from Yahweh when he was in the wilderness. No man sent him on his way, just Yahweh.

I also find out what a forerunner was for Kings. No not a Toyota 4Runner, although given the terrain they would loved to have one. I really didn’t know what they did and never gave it a though since I live in a time for the most part that don’t have kings. With that I see where you go with the title as a forerunner for Yochanan. Thanks, Eliyahu for the information and analogy!

I think this is the second time you make mention of the Torah by name. The Torah was explained to me, the name that is, as a target. You aim at and try to hit that target. You pointed out that this is what Yochanan was doing through his ministry. He was getting the people from going left or going right but staying on Target (Torah). So the Torah is the straight path to Yahweh this would bring the people back into covenant. This is what believers should focus on and the Torah is that guide to getting their.

Eliyahu, you refer to Deut 30:1-6 that Yahweh was going to forgive their sins against the
Covenant if they would repent and come back to the covenant. I like that, I mean here we have a people for the most part who have shunned their God, lived their life following man or men. And now Yahweh in His appointed time is willing to give them a second chance and forgive them. The remnant saw this and jumped on it. The religious couldn’t face their pride and selfishness and wanted to extract Yochanan and the message.
You bring out the point about the Pharisees and anybody claiming to be from the family seed of Abraham that they could not hide behind that fact. This was a calling to the people on an individual basis for a national re-newel of the covenant that they broke with Yahweh.

In Luke 3:15-16 a good point that most of us miss when we do think about Israel rejecting the Messiah. Is that the chaff from the threshing floor were those from the seed of Abraham that did reject him. But the remnant which is also from the seed of Abraham was gathered up in the barn. It is good to point out in these scriptures that there was a division in the nation of Israel. I miss this because I was never taught that there was a remnant of God that were torah believing Yeshua followers. I was taught that only the church of today was the remnant that was left believing in Jesus.

It is always in the back of my mind when I grasp what the real truth is that I wished I had a teacher such as Eliyahu when I was growing up. I can not look at look at these scriptures in the context as they were supposed to be taught. Then go back to the inaccurate Greco-Roman mind set and think that the Lord will bless them in my life.
My mind has been set free in so many ways when I see the scriptures in the correct Hebrew mindset. I mean I really feel my countenance lift up and have become stronger and more concrete in my faith in God (Yahweh) and Jesus (Yeshua).

We always talk about building our foundation on the Word and I tried to do that. I just never realized that my foundation on the Word had many cracks in it. Because I was given a teaching that had cracks in it by pastors that unintentionally gave, because their foundation had cracks. Thank God that the time is changing for the truth to come forth.

Bless you Eliyahu Ben David and your family!

You, my friend, have had the opportunity to experience the purpose behind  God's warning: My brethren, be not many masters (Rabbis, teachers), knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation. {condemnation: or, judgment}

This is simply because we have way too many individuals who, "Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm." The result has been chaos and confusion.

We have self proclaimed teachers of God's word on almost every street corner. But, which of them know what they are preaching about? Here is a good test: Ask these men -

Teach me the gospel of the kingdom of God (or the kingdom of heaven) that Jesus and the Apostles preached.

Now, compare their answers one to another and to the scriptures. It is not full-proof, but it might give you some measure of confidence.

Shalom Aleichem

It makes no difference whether you study in the holy language, or in Arabic, or Aramaic [or in Greek or even in English]; it matters only whether it is done with understanding. - Moshe Maimonides

I felt very much the same way when I was learning just how much I didn't really know through these programs.  I kept going back to that thought as I was forced to re-consider the things I thought I knew again and again.  The good news is, however, that I reached a point in the program where I was able to simply let go of all that mental anguish and frustration and let HIM have HIS way in teaching me the TRUTH of HIS WORD.

I comfort myself with the knowledge that HE has plans and purposes for each of us and HE develops us and our understanding according to HIS timing and HIS purposes for our lives.  HE says, "Trust in ME with all of your heart.  Lean not on your own understanding .  Acknowledge ME in all of your ways and I will make your path straight."

I know I don't have all of the answers and I can't know all the reasons that things in my life worked out the way that they did.  In my own thinking, I wish that I had come to Thailand and been able to share with those here the things that I've learned "far too late" (in my own thinking).  It would be very easy to allow the enemy to "beat me up" with those thoughts.  That's not HIS plan or purpose so just let it go (I say).  Some day we'll be able to see the "big picture" in all of HIS GLORY.  Hallelujah to that!

Blessings,

SueJean

Repentance was necessary so the people could  enter into a relationship with Messiah,  so they could be ready to follow Him and reconise the Messiah.    Yochanan or John the baptist was trying to get people ready, wake them up of their sins, so their hearts could be ready for Messiah, to enter into His kingdom.     This is necessary for today's remmant also and others that want to join themselves to Israel.    B/c Messiah is returning & we all need to repent if we want to be a part of His kingdom.  A forerunner is necessary to wake people's hearts up,   I think that this is a true example of Yahweh's faithfullness, & demonstration of His love to His people, that He sends a forerunner  to preach a message of repentance.    B/c He cares for us and wants us to return to Him.

How at the same time it must of been difficult to have this role,  to preach repentance, & to tell the truth, who isn't favored by lots of people who just want to run the other way.       What a dedicated man, Yochanan the immerser, to Yahweh,  that he valued Yahweh's Word above all else and to carry out the role, that Yahweh gave him to do.

May we be a people who are repentant, & dedicated to Yahweh's Word above all else, & carry out the roles He gives each of us to do.

Thank U for this message

Telling people to repent can't be easy,  but is necesary, if anyone wants  to have an everlasting relationship with Yahweh.    & b/c Yeshua is returning very soon,   It is time now for us all to repent & study His Word, & to be obedient to Him.

We need to be ready, & be prepared,  & the forerunner helps us to achive that.  The question to us, is, R we ready for Yeshua's return?   Will we be ready?  Is our hearts in the right place?  Have we repent?

Blessings to all
Rebecca
